MPA Recruitment has been appointed by one of the leading hospital and healthcare groups in the MENA region to source a Head Nurse, OR to lead their team. This is a world-class healthcare provider with a team of highly experienced experts across all their facilities.
As Head Nurse, you will provide the daily supervision and guidance to OR Nurses, ensuring they are trained and competent to scrub and circulate as per specialty; this will include ensuring the RR / CSSD Staff are trained and competent to do their job. You will play a significant role in ensuring that all booked surgeries are done on time with compliance to JCIA / CBAHI Standards. Effective utilization and cost-effective concept without compromising the quality of services are the priority of the OR Head Nurse.
Your duties will include inspecting OR and RR environment to ensure the appropriateness and compliance to JCIA/ CBAHI standards; checking all OR equipment / machines to ensure they are functioning; allocating staff assignments as per their competency skill and abilities; and ensuring the availability of the required instruments, equipment, and other items to avoid any delay. You will track and follow-up the daily OR list and coordinate pre-operative preparation as needed as well as organising the traffic during operations running.
You will have at least 8 years relevant experience; the most recent 5 years experience should be at a senior nursing level.
